Experience holiday magic at the Route 66 Christmas Chute: Top festive activity to enjoy

OUR FIRST MCPEEK ADVENTURE IN OKLAHOMA
We're getting settled into our new home and surroundings here in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area! That means that it was time to get out and see some of the neat things that are around the area. We heard about this extremely unique holiday walkthrough several times and it went to the top of our list rather quickly!
Downtown Sapulpa, Oklahoma is not only home to the Route 66 Christmas Chute, but also to some amazing businesses! We made sure we had plenty of time before the street lit up to browse through some shops, admire murals, and enjoy some lunch at the most magical restaurant - the Crossroads Cookery.
The Crossroads Cookery made us feel like we stepped back in time with the decor, mix matched chairs, and the AMAZING saloon style bar set ups. This place has: a coffee bar, a regular bar to get alcoholic beverages, AND a sweets bar that includes options of many varieties of flavored waffle cones for ice cream!

When it finally got dark, Dewey Street came to life! Route 66 Christmas Chute was ready and waiting for visitors to be in awe!
Now, what exactly IS this experience? We had no idea either until we did some research since we are brand new to the area.
According to the website, this is exactly what it is: "...the Route 66 Christmas Chute is the brainchild of a group of business owners and city officials to bring families to downtown Sapulpa to enjoy a unique, walkable Christmas experience. We had such a wonderful time!! This event will be a festive holiday tradition for us from now on.
