This was easily an amazing experience. We HIGHLY recommend that you add this to your list of places to see on Route 66. Great for any time of the year. We cannot wait to go back!
What is it?
DECOPOLIS is an art deco themed experience with a historic and magical vibe in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There are several cool aspects of this place and the owner is planning to expand in the future!! That is some exciting news for us adventurers!
There are several sections to be aware of while you are there:
-Discovitorium: This area is a magical! There are themed areas (Harry Potter/Star Wars/etc.) but the first thing you will notice are the dinosaurs! We felt like this area inspires curiosity, wonder, and creativity. It truly feels like another world! This area is also where you can find some treasures to purchase.
-Mini Art Deco Museum: this area is dedicated to sharing art deco artifacts and the history of those artifacts. Looking at these items transports you back in time! Personally, this is my favorite time period of art and architecture - and luckily for me, Tulsa is pretty well rounded with it!
-TulsaRama Town Square: this area is also part museum! It showcases artwork, art pieces, and some really neat Tulsa-themed history! The place is extremely themed and WE LOVE IT!!

It is located off Historic Route 66 in Tulsa!

Who can enjoy this experience?
It is suited for people of all ages that may enjoy magical, out of this world, art deco themed, and unique experiences. As two grown kids ourselves, we found this place an amazing escape from reality!

DECOPOLIS is open every day of the week! Check their social platforms or website for precise times.
Why should someone go?
I believe this is a place that educates AND inspires, so if you're wanting to learn something in addition to being immersed in an extremely themed environment, there's no other reason! You MUST GO! Especially if you are on a Route 66 roadtrip!
